"I had the BBQ ribs, which are made of pork. It was delicious. Easily came of the bone and straight into my mouth. It comes with cole slaw and I chose the string beans with melted cheese and garlic. Those string beans were awesome sides. You get unlimited refills on non-alcoholic drinks as well. Customer service was very good too. The establishment is just a few minutes off of the I-80, exit 34."

"We went on Father's Day and they had a special all you can eat menu. Food was very good. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. Brisket and ribs were delicious. Service was very friendly everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Only issue we had was getting out bill a little mix up but it was resolved quick enough. It was an enjoyable experience."

"WoW! Okay so there were 4 of us out to dinner. Me, hubby, and 2 friends. We got the combo order - the one with almost everything in it (our first time there and we didn't know what to get, but I wanted ribs)...It was just so . The BBQ ribs were so delish- tender, and juicy. The meatballs got everyone nodding. Just nodding while chewing. Coleslaw was really good. Briskets. Quesadilla. Beans... Don't worry, we took boxes home. Yeah, and we practically got heads turning with our order. Looked like a birthday celebration meal "

"We live locally so we go to Hot Rods every few months. The food there is sensational -- especially the Burnt Tips (see photo). So tasty! My 7-year-old son loves their kid's cheeseburger and the fact that he gets a toy car with the meal. I think their BBQ chicken is fabulous and love the corn bread. I never have room for dessert. Well worth going to."

"The perfect place for brews, appetizers and a meal. Unique atmosphere and our waitress was excellent. Efficient, accommodating, with a very pleasant sense of humor. We only had beers and some appetizers and were delighted with everything. I recommend it for after golf, a long hike, or escaping your to do list for a few hours! Just check it out and enjoy the respite."
